Colleen Carroll

President

Throughout her time with ProActivate, Colleen has consistently demonstrated a passion for taking ProActivate’s business to the next level. She started working at ProActivate in 2011 as a consultant and then transitioned as a Talent Manager, where she facilitated the growth of one of ProActivate’s largest clients.

Her dedication to understanding what each client needs to help them achieve both their short- and long-term goals was evident as she progressed from Talent Manager to Director of Marketing, then Director of Sales and Marketing. In 2021, Colleen became ProActivate’s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In 2024, she was promoted to President. Under her leadership, ProActivate has grown significantly, expanding its reach and impact in the talent acquisition space. Colleen’s vision and strategic approach have positioned ProActivate as a trusted partner for organizations seeking to enhance their workforce with exceptional talent.

Colleen resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She attended college at Letourneau University in Longview, Texas. She is married to her best friend and is a devoted mom to her children. Colleen is actively involved in her community, church and bible studies. She loves watching and attending sporting events, especially when her kids are playing. She also enjoys traveling, being outdoors and hosting parties for her family and friends.

Rachel True

Chief Operating Officer

Rachel’s deep passion for helping companies fill revenue-impacting positions has consistently shone through her work at ProActivate. She joined the company in 2007, starting her tenured career as Business Manager supporting sales, operations, and HR. Instrumental in leading others to successful outcomes, she pivoted to Operations Leadership in 2009. With a heart for operational excellence and team development, she served as Vice President of Operations, where she also addressed client experience and satisfaction. She successfully led the talent management team in both year-over-year team growth and revenue growth.

As COO, Rachel ensures the smooth operation of the daily and weekly talent deliverables, client experience, and company culture. Her leadership style emphasizes mindset awareness and she seeks to facilitate a strong, unified company culture among a geographically dispersed talent management team.

Rachel lives in the Kansas City area with her husband. She graduated from The University of Kansas with a double major in Psychology as well as Human Development and Family Life. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time in the mountains. An active and competitive person, Rachel plays volleyball every week and occasionally runs 5k and 10K races.

Brittany Schaefer

Director of Client Relations

Brittany brings over 15 years of experience in Recruiting and Public Relations/Community Outreach to her role at ProActivate. She has worked with a diverse range of clients and recruiting disciplines, demonstrating her ability to effectively communicate with upper management and executives. Brittany has a proven track record of partnering with both clients and community leaders and is dedicated to serving their needs. She is passionate about building and nurturing loyal relationships through communication and collaboration. Brittany excels throughout the client implementation process as she sets expectations, uncovers client needs and sets our customized recruitment strategy into motion.

Brittany graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Texas State University – San Marcos.

In her free time, Brittany enjoys outdoor activities, exercising, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She resides in Katy, Texas, with her husband and two children.
